My Twisted Easel Card!

Hi everyone!
I hope that everyone had a good weekend with some craft activities included!! I had the time to do a little bit. I am a subscriber to  Mary over at Cardz TV and she had done a turorial on a Twisted easel card, so I thought I would give it a try and It is so simple and darn Cute...http://cardztv.blogspot.com/2011/05/twisted-easel-card.html  Thanks mary for doing this and I always Look forward to your e-mails!! I am Still waiting to hear from Jordanbev5.....for the We love our Hero's blog hop Winner!! I am Going to enter this into  Week #2  Made It Myself Monday.

I used some of my scrap paper and also some of my Creative Imaginations double sided Paper, The flowers are from a blog hop I won a while back With i-rock jewels in the middle, and stickled them a bit...(love Bling)!!! Bee is a charm I had hanging around. Happiness saying is from my big stamp collection, not sure but think it is from my many Inkadinkado clear stamps collection. I think I just have to many stamps when I can't remember,or it is just my shrinking memory...LOL!! I heat embossed the saying and the smile as well. I used my foam dots to raise the smile to hold the easel up, Just need to add to who it will go to!! Thanks for looking and Happy Day!!

MAY MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

Tic Tac Toe . . . Three X’s in a Row! That’s the goal in this challenge. Look at the tic tac toe board below and choose three squares in a row. Use the challenge prompts from all three squares to create your project! In Juliana’s sample project below she used the bottom row of the Tic Tac Toe Board; Flower Image Cut, Cuttlebug Folder, and Imagine Papers. We can’t wait to see what you do! This month, in honor of National Scrapbooking Day (May 7th) we will be giving away a Brand NEW Cricut Expression 2: 5th Anniversary Edition to FIVE WINNERS!!!! Yep! You heard me right! FIVE WINNERS!!!!!

I chose the first row down on the right! Sun,Rick Rack And Flower Shape. The Leaves and the flower were cut with My Cricut and Gypsy!!

The Challenge: Create a project of your choice using the Tic Tac Toe board above to choose THREE challenge prompts in a row. Project must include atleast 2 different Cricut Image Cuts.




Rules and Guidelines: Circle Blog Challenges are open to Cricut Circle Members only. You can create any type of project you would like (tag, altered project, mini album, etc.) but your project must be newly created for this challenge and include atleast 2 Cricut Image Cuts. You must submit a project to be entered into the Challenge Prize Drawing. One entry per person, please.



How to Enter: Submit your entry using the InLinkz tool found at the bottom of this post. Please post your full name along with your entry. Entries are due by 9:00 pm MST on Monday, May 30th, 2011.

So for my Project I found a Fabric Garland Over at, Free and Pretty things for you,  http://www.freeprettythingsforyou.com/   Keren Had made the most Pretty Flower garland with fabric I have ever seen...So I thought I can do that...Fabric is not my Main craft so I knew that It was going to be a challenge for me. I found coordinating green fabric for the leaves, and  for the flower I chose my favorite Color (PURPLE). I chose Cindy loo Cricut Cartridge with the 4 leaves(page.65) with border shift and because they were different sizes it worked out well.they were cut at w/3.25- H/5.13. I used my 12x24 mat and filled it using the gypsy. The flowers were cut From Accent Essentials (page 55)< Accent24> And I just cut all the petal's off...I used Hot glue to assemble the flowers and Cut small peices of jute for the leaves and garland. Bowe's are white baby Rick Rack and the sun is from some old sun paper I had hanging around my craft room. I used a $1.00 Stamp from joann for the sun face and heat embossed it with purple embossing powder. I so would love to win a E2, It could be an Early, Early birthday Present!! This is a altered Project for Diane's Playing Card Challenge. I was trying to get something together for it but found that time was running out and really wanted to enter her challenge so I took my bee cards And Added one to my spring has sprung card...I noticed that no one has entered ...and I think it might be due to the blogger problems we had last week...  :(  I am just sharing the cute playing cards I found laying around my house. Thanks Diane for the very fun and Inspiring challenges you have!!


So the next challenge She wants to make is to use a playing card somehow on a project.  This can be a card that you already have in the house or one that you find as a "treasure" somewhere.  I am thinking of a decorative or souvenir type card but any playing card will be fine.

I hope everyone is having fun time today. There are some talented gals here! I have some Teapots that I made with the Once Upon A Princess Cartridge. I welded them on my gypsy..5.75"X 3.54.. then layered the the base with Patterned paper,adheasive pearl on lid and a little ribbonon the handle. I had so much fun making them that I ended up making 11 total, all different colors and pattern's...These are a few of them!

And for the Candy....I am Giving away a Spelllbinders Nestabilities Small Scalloped Octagons Die cut, some Stamps, and some mini Brads...

Capadiadesign take-out box Challenge

She is challenging herself - and any of you who want to play along - to use the design from a take out box as the inspiration for a project.  I want to try a few variations - maybe a card and a layout. This my Challenge Project that I came up with. I just mixed it up a bit.
