A couple cards I made for " I Feel the Love Project"

Well I have my cards finished and so now I will be linking them over at Madison's for all to see along with my Banner. I was having a hard time with my crafty mojo and I was at a loss and running out of time to get all of them into the mail. I went to my stack of old Christmas cards from years past and just went to town, and here is the end Result!!

This card only has a little bit of recycled items, the merry Christmas on front and the inside red and gold strips. It is the paper I used in my banner and the ornament is from Stampin'up Bundle.
Tree is from the Christmas Lodge set, also Stampin 'Up

Thanks for stopping by!!

I did do the random generator for my own blog candy and the results:    Jenny D   Congrat's Jenny!! And if you could e-mail me with your address I will get your Blog candy to you : ilovetonkniese2@hotmail.com   This is what you won:
And I have a few cards that I have made a while back and have never gotten around to posting them!!
This is the Tree stamp that is part of the Christmas  Lodge set and Stampin' Up is offering it as a single purchase! Love this stamp! Top note die and crumb cake ribbon.
This is from the Countryside set and it is an awesome set as well!!
I fell in love with this Ornament and had to have the set, which is still available until the 2nd of January. I did not have the SU tulle so I used some I had in my craft room, and the button is also non-SU but I did spray with glimmer mist to make it shine.
I really love my top note die and have used it into so many projects!! Found this Idea on Pinterest  Such a fun and easy box to make for any Occasion!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a Great week!!!

Banners for Special Needs Kids

Welcome to day # 3

"In the eyes of children, we find the joy of Christmas. In their hearts, we find its meaning."

As joyous as Christmas is for most families, for some, their holidays are filled with worry, medical treatments and tests, and pain -- for their child must be hospitalized or she or he needs long-term care rather than being home with their families.

For these kids, Santa doesn't slip down a chimney but rather, often comes in the guise of community volunteers who help make the season bright.

Hey all and welcome to the Christmas Banner Event!!  Ellen at  Card Monkey's Paper Jungle is hosting this mega event this weekend.  Our assignment?  To make a Christmas themed banner that will later be sent to a pediatric specialty care facility that helps special needs children.

I'll be sending this to Madison and the children at CHCC who are benefiting from the
I Feel the Love project in December:

I really have to admit honestly that  this is my very first banner I have ever made! The banner was made from the Cricut die cutting machine and Spellbinders Poinsettia die. Love the way it turned out. The cartridge's I used was  Winter Woodland for the font and for the banners the cut is from the Celebrations cartridge. I used red tulle to tie it together and  attached the "merry" with glue. I found the idea on Youtube, but don't remember the gal's address, so sorry. I love that Ellen does this Banner event for specific holidays  including: Halloween, Christmas (and Winter holidays), Valentine's Day and Spring Holidays . Thanks for dropping by and enjoy all the super banners that all the other participants have made. There are so many great crafty gals involved! I am giving away my own candy   (very cool Candy) and if you leave me a comment telling me your favorite Banner I will have do a random pull from all my comments. and post the winner on Tuesday.  I want to thank Ellen for allowing me to be part of a very special event and I am the last stop on the hop. hope you enjoy your Hoilday's with your loved ones. Now hop back to Ellen's

Little halloween monster!!

Hey Everyone! it is getting closer to Halloween and I think that I should share a little monster with you! It really started out to be a pizza box with a pretty bow on it! But just took a turn and my crafty mind wandered to monster  LOL  I made it with a few stampin up things, just need to get some SU paper! The face of the monster is cut  from the top note die and the ears are from bird builder punch, so are the teeth (they are the tip of the tail of the bird)  Glitter paper and a small circle punch for the eyes, and of coarse the googley eyes!

This is what I intended on trying to make(not my creation) SU Idea!

Sorry about the junk in the photo! He is so cute!!
Hope you enjoyed my creation today and be back soon, maybe with a new family member for (He has a name of Frankie!)  Crafty hugs to all!!

Surprise!! Im back with More!!

Hey everyone!! I was so crafty last night that I got a project  done that has been setting around since  last April....   :)      It was a message board I picked up for a couple dollars at a (lets just call it a huge Garage sale her in my town) for my local readers it is called (RAGS)  put on by the rotary club. Love going to this every year and always find something cool!!  So on to what I did to the message board,(Sorry, No before Photo) The board had a sticker on it and said (Roseart) One side Metal, the other a felt like material. I had all materials already here in my craft room so I was set!! So for those that remember I did a challenge back when I was a Cricut Circle Member and joined a challenge  http://ibecircled.blogspot.com/2011/05/my-entry-for-cricut-circle-blog-monthly.html This is the post I had here on my blog..The fabric is the left over from this. I have to admit that I am not a sewer  at all, so it really surprised me to even succeed In this form of craft. And to quilt this   LOL (Smile) It is not perfect but, I like it!! I had acrylic paint in green and purple, ribbon from Joann's, a Paper Bow, A friend made me the Green paper bow!! (Thanks Debbie!) I went a step further and had fabric still left and covered a plastic basket and two cardboard boxes that came from my blinds that are in my room and covered them as well   :)!! So they all coredenate  well and look good!! So there ya have it!! Enjoy and hope to see ya very, very soon!!   (Big Smile)

You might be aking what is in those? Cards that I have  made and some I have received!

Thank You To My New and current faithful followers!!

Yes I know that I have been Missing in action....It is just life that gets in the way and also the interface here is very intimidating to me. So how have I been you may ask? I started a new journey in my life, (well maybe 2)  ;)   I started a new job, When I say new I mean I have never been a Cashier in a Grocery store before. I knew pretty much what to expect, being a cashier in a craft store. It has been quite a fun journey so far! And I have just recently Signed up to be a Stampin Up Demonstrator  :)   So Not really sure how far I will go with it, Would love to go far!! Time will tell! So it looks like I might be starting another blog just for my stampin up. No this does not mean I will be taking this one down, by no means!! I love you all and so Appreciate all your thoughtful loving comments and Will really try hard to keep this blog current, If anyone has any suggestions on how to get your reading list to show all my current followers activities , that would be great!! So now I bet your wondering where is some of the projects that I have been making and not posting? OK, I Will post as many as I can on this post and get some more done tomorrow!

This card was made with Glitter Ritz, I have made cards with it before and posted here.
This one was so easy, I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder (thank you) and just chalked over the words!

I made this for my friend Shirley, She is the one that has problems with her blog, that I posted about. It was her Birthday in September. I just cut out the saying with my cricut and used black Vinyl. put some decorative pretty grass inside with battery operated lites you can pick up at any craft store. The pink flowers are velum stickers, I believe they are Jolee's? Tied a pretty pink Sheer Ribbon around it and there you have it! Oh one small thing,Notice that the "A" in AND is missing...  LOL It some how got stuck to one of the batteries when I was installing them  :) I used the Negative of the vinyl and did Etching on   a vase for her. Hope you like it, I know she did!!
This is a card I made for my Brother-in-law for his birthday this month. It is a $1 stamp from joanns craft store, Love them and some scrap decorative cardboard, not sure where it cam from but it's cool. stamped the zig zag down both sides and there you have it the in side is nice too!!
Inside of card
so are you tired of reading? hehehe...Guess if I keep this up you guys will get tired eyes!! I do hope that I can keep this blog up and Manage my Stampin up one as well. I will keep you all posted when I start up the other blog! Thank you for stopping by today and have a great Week!!

EDITED------Just when I thought I was finished--------Yes I am still trying to..

Hey all my faithful followers!! I am really trying hard to keep posting here and need all the support I can get!! I have been working on some birthday party decorations for my neighbor girl that is turning 4 next week end..Thought I should share them before I forget. Still need to add a flag to the top of the castles, but I was surprised how easy they were to put together. I used the Once upon a princess cartridge for the castle and the banner is cuts from celebrations cartridge. I am not really happy with how the banner turned out but guess I will settle with it...Running out of time. I am so happy that you took the time to drop by and please leave me a comment So I know you came to see my Blog!!
     Before
So today I got a brilliant Idea to make the castle look like it really had a foundation and this is what I came up with!!
I used a 12x12 piece of chipboard and covered it with some brown card stock. I had some green grass looking stuff that I found at the goodwill. and started covering the board and went around the castle with it. Then that was not enough I thought, it needed a bridge for the gate, and then comes the water for under the bridge,I had some prismatic paper that i had picked up a while back at wal mart, it looks like water! so I took some gold paper and formed a little bridge....then a railing for the bridge, I used paperdoll dress up cartridge for the railing(cut at 1 1/2 inches) and added a fence all the way around it,added more grass around the fence. Oh did I mention that I added Flags to it!! I am very excited for Peyton to see her princess things!! Now I am working on the little gift bags that go with everything. Carri I hope that I will be able to make it to her party!!

                                                                            After

Oh and whats a castle with out a Princess, cut at 3 1/2 inches with (Once Upon A Princess Cartridge)> I have a good friend that might be making a carriage for this but  not sure if it will be done in time? That's all, and I am Proud of this and sometimes I have good Ideas and they go together so good and sometimes not...LOL Today was a good Crafting Day!! Thanks for stopping by!!
